The group selected Memory Matters

We appreciate members stepping forward to share an opportunity where we can be involved and help organizations doing the hard work in the community for those who need it most.

Each donation cycle is 90 days so donations across the quarter will be directed to the charities during the three months. 

As contributions continue, we estimate the total distribution to be $20,000 for the summer quarter.

Quarterly collective donation was awarded to .... LowCountry Alliance for Healthy Youth - Quarterly Distribution Pledge to LCAHY of $17,000

Congratulations - you have helped another important organization in the community.

We kicked off our spring meeting with cocktails overlooking the marsh and announced that the group has raised over $365,000 during the past 5 years for local needs involving people just trying to go through life. Since our start, the group has made major donations to one local charity each quarter as well as contributions to several other charities represented in our meetings. 

The votes are in. The members have selected the LowCountry Alliance for Healthy Youth, known as LCAHY, for this quarter’s donation cycle. We will work with to arrange a day for a photo.

Quarterly collective donation was awarded to .... Hopeful Horizons

The doors opened at 5pm with the first group arriving for the cash bar. By 5:30, we had seventy-five people in attendance. We started off with the presentation to our previous winner - Safe Harbour. The director of Safe Harbour shared a heart felt thankyou for our donation and welcomed everyone to visit the facility.

We then heard from Mandy Parson on an update of the vision for the Boys and Girls Club of Hilton Head.

The ballots were collected at 6:30 and everyone headed out for dinner.

Now is the time to nominate another worthy organization we should consider. It is easy, just respond to the email with the name of the nonprofit and they will be on our list.

Full Spectrum Studio - Tour & Check Presentation

The studio will be open for the Men and Women Who Care to take a tour, meet artist and take a photograph for the check presentation.

It is always interesting to see the work being performed by the organizations and special when we have the chance to see the accomplishments.

In addition to the tour, there will be several interesting pieces of art available for gifts created by the artist. I think you will find some unique items for the Christmas season.
